Brian Moran

Director

Qualified in Human Resource Management & Business, Brian has been working in the Welfare Recruitment sector for over 13 years. Originally from Ireland, Brian moved to and has been working in Sydney since he arrived in Australia in 2007.

Prior to relocating, Brian worked for the Dept. of Justice, Equality & Law Reform. He is a people person and throughout his career he has worked in people focused positions. In both, his personal and professional life Brian always strives to do his best and leave people satisfied. Brian understands the importance of recruiting the most suitable person for the organisation and role and enjoys the variety that each day brings as a result.

Co-founding Brightside Recruitment with his long-standing colleague Chris allows him to bring a unique and personal service to the Welfare Sector.

Outside of work, Brian is a family man and enjoys watching any and all sports. He’s a keen footballer and supports his home town of Limerick.

Chris McCabe

Director

After a decade of working in the UK Sales market, Chris decided in 2012 that enough was enough and hopped on the first plane to Australia in search of a new life. It was here in Sydney that Chris came across the opportunity to transfer his sales experience into the recruitment market and started staffing NSW’s Not-For-Profit sector.

Chris very quickly realised his passion for Social Health & Wellbeing Recruitment, progressing his career from a top biller into leadership, and experiencing his niche from within both a NFP and also a Corporate model.

Now, after over 8 years working within his specialism, Chris decided the time was right to build his own brand within the market and who better to do it with than his long-standing colleague and confidant Brian, thus Brightside Recruitment is born.

When Chris isn’t busy working, you’ll find him mainly outdoors enjoying either some beach time with friends or often out exploring Sydney’s surrounding mountain trails or national parks. A huge fan of travel, he does his best to get out of the city whenever opportunities arise.
